How does that work?
Estrogen (one of the main female reproductive hormones) level increase during ovulation. It gives an extra "saltness", i.e. crystal-like structure to your saliva. If you look at it saliva under a microscope, it resembles a pattern of a fern leaf.
Our smart ovulation test recognizes your saliva pattern using a powerful thirty-times magnification lens. It then transmits the data to the app where special image recognition software verifies the result.

FAQ
When in my cycle it’s best to use Diagnio?
The best time to use the Diagnio Kit in the first month is during the period from the 10th to 20th day of your cycle. Starting the next month, you can shorten the testing window down to 6 days (from the 12th-18th day of your cycle). Good news! Our App is AI-powered. The more cycles you test, the better it will learn your personalized pattern and further advise on when to test next.For the most accurate result, you should test right after waking up in the morning. Test first, then drink your water, brush your teeth, and go on to your morning coffee.
The Diagnio Reader is compatible with any smartphone with a back camera. Please note that Diagnio Reader can only be used with Diagnio App. The App suites iPhone iOS 10 or above and Android models running Android 10 or above.
Clip the device onto the designated camera for your model (our user manual will help to find the right one) and Turn the AutoFocus OFF before using the Diagnio Reader (the camera will open in the Diagnio App). It can be done by pointing the finger at your screen and holding it for a couple of seconds. The AF (or AE/AF) sign should appear on your screen.
